I stumbled across your post in a web search about caucus clubs. But while I'm here, I'll offer my $0.02.

First - Democrat and Republican caucus rules are set by the parties, and differ between the parties. Why not work with your party to change this instead of forcing your issues with the Dem caucus on GOP voters?

Second - You said:
"Supporters of the caucus stated the process is really bipartisan and the taxpayers shouldn’t have to finance a primary election. So what! That’s just the price we pay for fairness and equal representation in a democracy."

You make no argument here, while the other side has a very legit argument. Primaries are expensive and fraught with claims of fraud. Additionally, it is for the major parties. Here in Maryland, they don't let you register as a particular third-party...you have to be "Independent". Currently, Independents outnumber Republicans, but their tax dollars go to pay for the GOP (and Democrat) primaries. That is not democracy - that is theft.
